Taste Of Tuscany
Cheap wine - we had in Tuscany
And heaps and heaps of cheese.
Tomatoes - sweet and cherry shaped
And olives grown to please.
Gelato cones - heaped with taste -
All twirled and curled in peaks.
We licked the luscious - slow and light
And strolled the narrow streets.
Plates of pasta - piled in style -
We forked and twisted tight.
And licked our lips to hold the taste -
In evening candle light.
