 Pick Up The Pieces
Photobucket

Loss once came and would return
To call again though you would learn
The worst it's done and did to you
Prepared your soul now ready to

Start from scratch, from ground you walk
No time to sulk, no time to balk
Your life goes on if you so try
To put an end to your goodbyes

They struck and hit the very center
Of nerve that felt the Hell of Winter
Where Spring and Summer so would too Fall
Become as cold upon you call

There is life beyond ones comfort zone
There is no cause or to condone
The best of you that breathes today
Above six feet is a great day

Don't mean to rain on griefs parade
Deaths card, no joke is no charade
Kills ones drive but the flip side
Is you still live, so live alive

Enjoy whats left that God gives you
Today, His gift with breath you drew
To live and love as you once knew
So pick up the pieces and follow through
