At the ending of a
stress-filled day
weary on my bed I fall
I look to the sky
as the light
grows dim...
Sinking my head
in my pillow
as though it were

I'm thankful Lord
as I recall
the times that I
cried out to YOU
Forgive me for
the many times
I failed
to ask when
I needed help
YET YOU were faithful
to see me through
the mess
and through the toil
to the ending of this day
