She rules a world unseen by eyes
Her Kingdom sits where no one sighs
Of boredom, whats next to do
Just watch and wait and she'll show you
Where fun is found in all she does
Sitting, laughing, smiling because
There is no sense of urgency
No call to rush in infancy
Her smile will show her brand new teeth
Though temporary, she has to keep
Attention span not hers but yours
In steps taken on floor she tours
She reigns supreme and this old man
Will do her bidding by her command
She'll call to us to ride upon
Grandpa, her Knight safely in arms
We'll walk the grounds and shield her from
Giants, Dragons and Trolls who'll come
To try and steal what is priceless
Grand daughter ours and my princess
She is the cause to smile today
She is my hope, our everyday
For without her, this Kingdom ends
