In Heart and Soul
Both live with whats exposed to them
Eyes that see will also lend
Their part, their role in how we play
Our role upon this Earth God gave
Try we will to see things through
Inside of us the soul does too
The heart speaks volumes at times unheard
The soul if torn will pace disturbed
The heart of one can love and cut
The soul follows but will ask what
What if we could change what pains
Dear heart so much we both could gain
Just think what troubles us today
Will live in you and I always
So keep in mind all that you feel
Steals my joy, this soul that reels
Please be mindful when love does call
As I too watch just down the hall
Where sentiment, dormant once slept
Inside us both, through window kept
