The email arrived with promise bold,
Only 30 seconds to riches we are told,
Just say a quick prayer to the Lord above,
And riches will come on the wings of a dove.
Ti's true, God's power is able to provide,
Riches and rewards and much more besides,
But remember that Jesus humble became,
So we should be like that if we mention His name.
Our Lord didn't ever pray for power,
Not even in Calvary's excruciating hour,
Nor did he plead for riches or fame,
He only wanted to glorify God's name.
So repent today from self centered greed,
Knowing that God will provide every need,
Then surrender your will to His name and Glory,
Make ‘Following Jesus' your central story.
