 Tranquil Harbor
Seeking an anchorage for the vessel of my soul;
A place where life's storms cause minimum effect.
Surrounded by mountains, protected in this bowl;
This bay of calm, deep waters, it always can protect.
This harbor has many ships tied to the rocks by my side;
To my port and to my starboard are other's needing calm.
Seeking the refuse that these peaceful waters do provide;
Repairing their sails, resting, energizing; this place is a balm.
Hurricanes of trouble rage out on the open seas around me;
Yet this picturesque bay seems untouched by circumstance.
These crystal blue waters embrace me, I feel strong and free;
From this tranquil harbor I am full of peace, enjoying life's dance.
