The Last Carol...

It was Christmas time...And my heart was singing

to the tunes of laughter and glitter

the tree stood tall the lights were sparkling

all around with presents wrapped -

  but somewhere deep...inside I knew

our time was was all but trapped...dear

           So gather round now
lets sing that one last carol
before the bedlam of a new day
           sees in the silent night...

Our love you know is a timeless zone

  it lapses then fulfills reality

  never fading into obscurity

we break the barriers of our thrills

So gather round my darling lover

let the whole world sing its song -

for this time of year tears will spill

because war is so so very wrong

your with me not I know I know now

but your spirit encircles me like a dove

I know now for all eternity

  never fading into...obscurity -

    So gather round now
    lets sing one last carol
before the bedlam of the day
    See's in that silent night...
