Working It Out...I am working it all out you know, Cos I look at life like this, Nothing worth having comes easy It always seems to be hit and miss! But always there at my shoulder, There is a very special One... The Lord is always at my side, Checking on the things I've done. And of course, in my down times, He's never seems to be at my side! For I always thought at those times, From me, my God did hide. Until I asked this day of Him, 'Why not? At the times I need You more!' So He whispered into my ear so gentle, That I should always look to the floor! Well I have to say, I was confused, Why would I need to look at the floor? So I asked my God once again, ‘What on earth did You say that for?' And oh dear me, of course I knew! That was when He was carrying me high! And He told me that I'm never alone, And He told me that is why... ...Why I always surpass every test, And why I am still here this day, It's because He carries me of course! And now I'll always remember what He'd say. He'd say; ‘Catherine, lift up your head! And wipe those tears from your eyes! For they will do you no good at all! Take that fact from this Icon so Wise!' And of course, so very wise He is, After all, He created the entire world! Then He created man as well, Well in the Bible His words unfurl! And His words are one of the Wise, For isn't He what life is all about? Yes it is, of course it is! Of that there is no doubt! And when He say's we have to love him 1st, And never, ever, put anyone before! At first I just couldn't do that! After all, I have family I adore! So I wondered how the heck I could... Put my God 1st in my life. No way! Until it dawned, that without Him, I wouldn't have my family and friends anyway! For He is the reason ‘we' are here, So if we don't put Him 1st, He can take us away, So we should all look to Him before all else, And it's never too late to alter our way! And from that one day I realised, That yes, of course I can put Him there!! And then He became No.1 in my life! After all, it is only fair! I asked my hubby who he loves first, And of course, he keeps telling me it's me! But I am trying to change his way of thinking, For without God, there wouldn't be me! So he is trying his hardest to do that... And I hope that one day he can! After all, in this turbulent life of mine, I have this very special man... ...Who is only brought about by the Lord! For He is the instrument in our life, And for me, that's how I deal with my health, And why He helps me through all my strife! He say's in the Bible; ‘You must love your God above all else!'
