My Dear Mr God...I know I owe an apology to you! Because I have given you such a hard time; All I seem to do was cry and cry, And nope, I wasn't feeling fine! So I think I better make my peace; And say that I'm sorry to you, Cos after all, when said and done… You really did get me through! And I thought on all the time I felt; That you had left my side; Alone was I, so scared was I… That I cried and cried and cried! Then when I was in the hospital this week, And they gave me the results of the tests, I have to say, the good news was good… And the bad news was the best!! The good was that it's not cancer; And I know I had you up the wall, All I seemed to do every night, Was to give you another call! Then the bad news came next; Kidney growth, bladder issues; And more operations needed, And there I was, I needed more tissues! But the tears this time are good ones, Happy ones, no more need to be sad! For the bad news ‘was' the best news! And I am no longer feeling bad! Cos the bad news that's the good news, Is cos no matter what they need to do, Everything is ‘fixable!' And yes Dear God, it's down to you! For I know without a shadow of a doubt, That you were there at my side; And were carrying me high as I floundered, And were with me while I cried and cried! So last night I asked for forgiveness', And told that I was sorry for my doubt, And now I know, forever more; From now, there'll be no negative about! You see, I got my head on yesterday, And told myself most stern! That I would fight this fight, come what may, And a very big lesson learn! And the lesson Dear God is this; I should never have doubted you! So from my heart, I humbly say; Without you, I don't know what I'd do! So thank you for your help, And for all the support you gave to me, Thank you very much Dear God… For the life I now have; given from Thee!!
