Suppose you lived on a desert island
With no one just you, sun, sea and sand,
In some ways this would be a paradise
But, as normal, there is always a price.

Just think, you could do as you wanted to
You could please yourself, no one to stop you,
Laze about and do nothing at all
Indulge yourself from morning `til nightfall.

No pressure of normal everyday life
No strain of having a husband or wife,
No one to love or to love you back
Could be a life with peace and no flack.

If you don`t care or love anyone
Then there`d be no pain when they are gone,
This could be a life of ignorant bliss
But being alone is the price for this.

Remember, if you`ve never had it
It is said that you`ll never miss it,
So this island could be heaven for you
Living without things you never knew.

Would you like this life and spare yourself pain?
Where the sun always shines and there`d be no rain,
Would this be the life that most people chose?
It`s all hypothetical I suppose.
