I cannot continue to walk down this muddy road
of disharmony and strife where my joy lies
deadly still by the wayside like a defeated foe.
I must at all costs tighten my mental belt and
become clear of all disparaging thoughts so that
I may overcome the brutal mountain of sadness and
dishonor that covers my weary and torn life.
My heart must grow valliant and my soul needs
strength so that this pain and grim disease may
be fought and be destroyed that I may at last know
the pleasures of glorious peace and harmony.
