Poetic Verses
The Other Side
Ups and downs are of this life
like a roller coaster ride
and every time I see the strife
I know it will subside
Until again I climb that hill
and wonder when it will end
And sometimes I wonder is it thy will
that unto my faith I amend
But as the hills get higher
and my old bones start to creak
I feel I'll slide into the mire
that makes me much too weak
And now I start to wonder
what's on the other side
As this life speeds asunder
and you finally end my ride
