Exist they did in childhood dreams
A flying horse yet to be seen
By eyes mine, maybe yours too
This fantasy just one of two
With Golden horn upon it's head
Chasing rainbows while still in bed
We saw gallop these two creations
Before gray eyes filled with elation
These two Equines now paired together
Two breeds apart, one horned one feathered
Would breed to birth a fold their own
Unique with wings and horn, seed sown
This family of hoof and tail
Would prance and fly where happy trails
Are read and seen only in fables
Dreamed by child who slept in stable
Child now man still looks to skies
Where once upon horses would fly
A sight held dear and close to heart
Where dreams come true and become part
