Many Left Their Dogs
Many Left Their Dogs
Ike, he has blown!
… roared by alone,
with temper honed,
singing farewell.
Galveston drifts.
Ferried by skiffs,
bowed, soaked, and ripped,
her skies won't tell!
Paradise lost!
Power lines will cost
more albatross.
All eyes on God!
Stranded seaside,
dizzied by tides,
caught in mudslides,
many left their dogs.
Many Left Their Dogs
