Poetic Verses
People Like That
They ask for your favor
And then comes the pitch
You know the routine
There is always a hitch.
They hide in sheep's clothing
But inwardly hate
Their hypocrisy is stunning
Such a vile human trait.
They got themselves dirty
By playing in dirt
And people like that
Never care who they hurt.
They have an agenda
With a self-serving end
And would without warning
Turn on a close friend.
So be on your guard
Should they ask aught of you
For their motives are selfish
Give the devil his due.
Yes, there's always a hitch
When they ask for your favor
So, beware of their cunning
And callous behavior.
