Exhorting Repentance
Wash yourself and become clean,
From iniquities that have been;
Take evil out of your sight,
Tell Satan to take a flight.
Seek justice and learn how should,
What to do that would be good;
Halt oppressors of the Word,
So God again can be heard.
Though your sins are a bright red,
Your body darkens as dead;
So come on and let us talk,
Of your good traits to unlock.
For I am one that does know,
You can become white as snow;
No more need to be a fool,
You can become white as wool.
If you will no longer stray,
And are willing to obey;
Only the best in the land,
That you will eat from God's hand.
But refuse and you rebel,
For sure you will go to hell;
You will be slain by the sword,
That will be held by the Lord.
