O Divine Mother Savitri,
You are the most beautiful Goddess!
You have the effulgence of the morning Sun!
Firmament constitutes your tresses of hair
You are adorned with a lustrous red gold crown
Dark and blue clouds form your eyebrows, and
The existence, knowledge, bliss are your faces!
The Venus and Jupiter are the tips of your ears
The Sun,Moon and Cosmic fire are your eyes
The Day & night are your nostrils for breathing.
The morning and evening twilights are your lips
Closed and elegant speech forms your palate
The Sun at dusk is the jewel of your neck
The four quarters are your brilliant hands
Wind is thy breathing and moon is thy mind
Great cosmic ocean of galaxies is thy heart
The circular firmament is thy belly and
Sun with planetary spheres is your navel
Creative energies constitute your front loins
The Earth's vastness forms Thy lofty hips
The great snowy mountains form Thy thighs
From which the immortal rivers have emerged
Mountain nymphs and forest goddesses constitute
Thy knees, the dates, months, seasons and years
Are a small moment of your thought and You are
Always clad in a beautiful ruddy robe of dusk
Thou art my most beautiful Goddess of the universe
Thou hast the brilliance of myriads of lightnings
Thou art shining like millions of emerging Suns
Thou art stationed in the middle of a great ocean
Of blissful nectar, surrounded by golden flames!
Thou art transcendental and also unapproachable
By the mind, but attainable through meditation
O Thou, the most beautiful Mother of the universe
And beloved spouse of Siva, the Lord of universe
Thou art the essence of all scriptures and the world
Vouchsafe Thy splendorous presence in me your child
Bestow peace and happiness to the entire universe!
