why are they so angry with me?
my purpose is not to induce FEAR
it is not my desire to cause people to cry TEARS
i'm just an innocent hurricane,
travelling through space and time
my siblings and i have been doing this for YEARS!
in the days of old, instead of wearing a FROWN
when we come AROUND
kings and warriors moved their people to higher GROUND
they had respect for 'me' and my cousin 'Tsunami'
animals disappeared...
that's when they knew we were coming to TOWN
today, my reputation has become that of evil and MEAN
little kids cry and say;
"Miss Hurricane is the worst THING, we've ever SEEN!"
i have a job to do!
we don't snooze when the alarm clock RING!
we maintain ecological balance
God Almighty is our Creator,
while Sweet Mother Earth is Queen of all QUEENS!
compassionate is what i really try to BE
and this is why turtles and dolphins love ME
after the 'monsoon',
they're stuck within the parameters of the Blue 'Lagoon'
it's my duty to transport them from SEA
to shinning SEA
please allow me to apologize for all the suffering,
all the misery and all of the PAIN
i will continue to give warning of my coming
by sending forth violent winds and heavy RAIN
technological evacuations are not to be ignored
this is not a GAME!
tropical 'tribes', it would be 'wise'
to clear a 'path' for the 'wrath'
of Miss HURRICANE!
