Today...In America...

Today is independance day in America
The rain is falling here perhaps tears from Jesus
For He looks down and sees all the corruption
Hoping His people will cease from further destruction

This land once built on a Godly foundation
Is removing God's laws being His protection
For as we have been warned throughout history
A nation without God will not have victory

There are some christians that continue to pray
For a revival fire to break out in a hurry
As christians know God tells us in 2 Chron.7:14
He is able and waiting when our prayers go up to Him

Today as we celebrate the land of the free
How many realize the price paid down thru history
Our freedom has never been free for it has cost many
Yet the very foundation of our freedoms many are denying

For leaders are mocking the Creator of all
Causing our once godly foundation to fall
As they make up their own ungodly laws
"We the People" no longer make that call

Instead of standing for what God would bless
Many think on economics or a popularity contest
I may rattle a few chains but I speak as I'm led to do
God will not bless a nation that don't stand on His truthes

Whatever your choice was that is truly your right
But remember the platform you stood on before the plight
For whatever leader and their platform stands for
Is the same moral issues that you chose to emplor

In no way shape or form should our choices be for money
For trusting in God to supply all our needs is plenty
For no matter what leader we have for our country
If God is not removed we're protected from the enemy

But a house or country divided shall never stand
For God almighty can choose to remove his hand
Our eyes are to be focused upon His sovereign plans
AMERICA....God is aware of all luke warm christians

I emplor you today to send prayers up to God
To help in His restoring a God fearing nation
For honestly many are blinded to what is in store
For biblical prophecy is playing out daily for sure

Many seem to think this day is to party and drink
If only eyes and ears were open to what God thinks
I know how vexed Ifeel each day by God being replaced
With nothing but filth ,vulgarity and immoral disgrace

Beware!!! the signs are all around us now
He's at the door knocking soon to return no doubt
I'm not the judge I'm just the messenger and pen
That writes out by guidance of what the spirit speaks within

Here's a quote from Ronald Reagan:  
"If we ever forget that we are one nation under God,
then we will be a nation gone under."
As well as this scripture below he used at his own inauguration
2 Chron.7:14
If my people, which are called by my name,
shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face,
and turn from their wicked ways;
then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin,
and will heal their land.

Zechariah 14:12
And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD
will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem;
Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet,
and their eyes shall consume away in their holes,
and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

Proverbs 8:13
The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy,
and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.
Proverbs 10:6
Blessings are upon the head of the just:
but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.
Proverbs 10:11
The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life:
but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.
Proverbs 11:11
By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted:
but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.


~Below a bit of history for those that may want to see~
Have you ever wondered what happened to the 56 men

Who signed the Declaration of Independence?

Five signers were captured by the British as traitors,

and tortured before they died.

Twelve had their homes ransacked and burned.

Two lost their sons serving in the Revolutionary Army;

another had two sons captured.

Nine of the 56 fought and died from wounds or

hardships of the Revolutionary War.

They signed and they pledged their lives, their fortunes,

and their sacred honor.

What kind of men were they?

Twenty-four were lawyers and jurists.

Eleven were merchants,

nine were farmers and large plantation owners;

men of means, well educated,

but they signed the Declaration of Independence

knowing full well that the penalty would be death if

they were captured.

Carter Braxton of Virginia, a wealthy planter and

trader, saw his ships swept from the seas by the

British Navy. He sold his home and properties to

pay his debts, and died in rags.

Thomas McKeam was so hounded by the British

that he was forced to move his family almost constantly.

He served in the Congress without pay, and his family

was kept in hiding. His possessions were taken from him,

and poverty was his reward.

Vandals or soldiers looted the properties of Dillery, Hall, Clymer,

Walton, Gwinnett, Heyward, Ruttledge, and Middleton.

At the battle of Yorktown, Thomas Nelson, Jr., noted that

the British General Cornwallis had taken over the Nelson

home for his headquarters. He quietly urged General

George Washington to open fire. The home was destroyed,

and Nelson died bankrupt.

Francis Lewis had his home and properties destroyed.

The enemy jailed his wife, and she died within a few months.

John Hart was driven from his wife's bedside as she was dying.

Their 13 children fled for their lives. His fields and his gristmill

were laid to waste. For more than a year he lived in forests

and caves, returning home to find his wife dead and his

children vanished.

So, take a few minutes while enjoying your 4th of July holiday and

silently thank these patriots. It's not much to ask for the price they paid.

Remember: Freedom is Never Free!

people as you can, please. It's time we get the word out that

 

PATRIOTISM  is NOT a sin,
and the Fourth of July has more to it than beer,
picnics, and baseball games.
