The Girl With The Curls
The girl with the curls
and the big open smile,
slipped out of our lives
without a goodbye!
Her space at the table
now longs for her laugh,
her friends and her family
are shattered in half!
Her pen is now resting,
her poems have shut down,
her dreams for the future
are faded and brown!
The timing was awful,
so sudden and sad,
the height of excitement,
so quickly went bad!
It's really not fair,
it doesn't make sense,
to take one so youthful
and put her to rest!

For Leichelle, who died suddenly on
Saturday night. She was only 27!!
Her funeral will be held on Monday,
July 13.
