The Difference

        A tear in the eye
Like a shed from the sky,
        A rain it pours
        it trickles, it endures

So long as the night passes with prayers
From lips that entreat and heart that quivers,
So strong is the faith that lingers,
        before a candle-lit,beads on fingers

        A smile on the face
Like the warmth of God's embrace,
        A sunbeam it illumines
        It exhilarates, it enlivens
