Praising the Triune God
As I awake my heart climbs,
For I thank God at all times;
My mouth will forever raise,
In rejoicing as I praise.
My soul continues to boast,
Father Son and Holy Ghost;
With all that each One has done,
Especially for the Son.
The oppressed will hear my voice,
And they also will rejoice;
Praising the greatness with me,
As the Lord helps them to see.
Let us all honor His name,
Through the Good News does proclaim;
With His showing how He cares,
When He answers sincere prayers.
For God rescues from all fear,
Since He will always be near;
Looking to Him all will know,
Seeing the radiant glow.
Young lions hunger and thirst,
Because they put themselves first;
But those who do seek the Lord,
They will never be ignored.
