Love's wondrous golden light splashes
across the dark canyon of my heart,
fills the empty chasm of my soul,
and floods the deep well of my mind
with its precious refreshing waters.
Its wonderful tranquility washes
over me like a fountain of pure joy,
releasing all the tepid waters of
anger and heartbreak from my life.
And its sensual rhythm of melodic
music erases all the pain and suffering
that I have ever known.
