Disavow Deceit
Our bodies are made of clay,
And are molded every day;
As God through His mercy and grace,
Shaping us with His sweet embrace.
For we treasure of the Good News,
That every one of us construes;
The eminent power of God,
Compared to bodies frail and flawed.
Troubles surround every day,
Attempting to cause you to stray;
Closing in from every side,
And not appearing to subside.
But if you have faith there is hope,
That gives you direction to cope;
So we do not give up or quit,
In knowing what we inherit.
Although feeling persecuted,
Your foes will be prosecuted;
They will be feeling the wrath,
When judgment crosses their path.
But we have a wealth on this earth,
As power of God shows its worth;
When your mind is not on the things,
From the graces that the Lord brings.
