 History

People can say a lot about me
Sometimes I nod, sometimes I disagree
But when it comes to expectancy
Then you'll see the revolutionary
Because I don't want your history
Fingers pointed, through hypocrisy
Painted over with ‘democracy'
No! I don't want to be your history
I didn't chop down every single tree
And over fish our polluted sea
Or  believed what you put on our TV
I don't want to be your history
Have every word recorded by your agency
Just so it can be used against me
To have another label stalled on me; ‘guilty'
All because I didn't agree
To be your Human guinea piggy
No! I don't want to be your history
It's been the same from BC to AD
Higher powers of things we don't see
Controlling and telling us what we want to see
Little red herrings placed in the conspiracy
Written by them, told in History
But told the truth in poetry!
