Flies And Nature And Things!

As I sit in my bed and I type,
Cos my spine and me are up the wall,
It seems every few days I am laid in bed,
And I give my poor hubby a call!
Shouting...‘Riiiich! Where are you?
‘I'm so thirsty, I'm so parched dry!
‘Can you bring me a drink once again please?
‘Before I begin to sob and cry?'

But joking all aside now...
I don't have to ask for anything, cos you see,
There is nothing that I need or want,
For he makes sure everything ok for me!
Never does he moan or whinge you know!
And never does he complain,
He just does what he does, and does it with love,
He's a star, and he's always the same!!

Sings as he goes through his day,
Scrubbing at this and at that,
Bleaching as he goes as well,
Catching bees and flies, knocking them flat!
Actually, he doesn't kill anything,
He catches whatever and opens the door,
Sets it free, oh woe is me...
I'm scared, but he knows the score!

‘Darlin',' he tells me often,
‘You can't just kill nature and things,
‘Every insect and animal has a job to do!'
And oh, how my heart swells for these things.
For these things make him the man he is,
Saving the planet from harm every day,
By saving the things that I would normally kill,
In fear, where in my bed I lay!

As he walks in with a big bowl of ice cream!
Cos he knows I love it, oh, I do!
But I know my diabetic specialist wouldn't!
But if you don't tell him, I won't tell too!

Heck, I had to make it rhyme!!
