For So Long...Ishy And Dishy

~A Tribute Of Love~

For so long two hearts beat as one

Now part of her heart beat is gone

He was such a big part of her life

Part of her being when taking her as his wife

Many memories she'll treasure over the years

Some bringing laughter,some bringing tears

Yet her loss was to be heavens' gain

But the love they shared will forever remain

Although his light on earth is no more

In her heart it still flickers for it's he she adored

A love like they had will never die

For it was brought together from upon high

She is a poet and he was her greatest fan

Together in life they walked hand in hand

Even through tough times their love never wavered

That's why even in death their love is not severed

And in the lonely darkness of the night

Memories of him will bring forth a light

He hung on until her words released him to go

This was the ultimate depth of her love to show

Someday in heaven they'll reunite again

Even in death she'll love him til the end

For he wasn't just her husband but her best friend

A love like theirs will only transcend
