Kiss me Goodbye

Kiss me Goodbye

It's been a long time coming but it's finally here
I have no more worries and no more fear
My body is tired and my soul is weary
So come just a bit closer and make sure you hear me
I know how you must feel , I'd probably feel the same
But I'm tired of the anguish and sick of the pain
You can cry if you want, but no tears for me
This is the only way that I can be free
It is not in our power to say where or when
But it is in our power to see each other again
So kiss me goodbye and let me go my way
Then do your best to make sure you'll see me again someday
If you live your life in honor of me
Then where I'll be there you will one day be
I'll stand before my judge for the things that I have done
In the grace of the forgiveness that is free to everyone
Remember me for the good things that I tried to do
And forgive me for the times I disappointed you
I don't mean to be selfish , but I want to dance again
Just picture me in the long white robe I'll be dancing in
It has to be a better sight then the one you see right now
Trust me when I tell you it all works out some how
So just wish me well in my home in the sky
Let me know you understand, and kiss me goodbye
