Dedicate Your Lives to God
By the mercies of our God,
I plea you to honor and laud;
And to be even more precise,
Become a living sacrifice.
Be acceptable to the Lord,
Not letting His Word be ignored;
Read and continue to abide,
In your heart embedded inside.
Not to be fashioned to mankind,
But change by renewing your mind;
So you may prove just what is good,
As proper for God as it should.
Through the grace that was given me,
I am forthwith able to see;
No more earthly things should I thirst,
Rather by keeping the Lord first.
Rather soberly should you think,
Quenching with the righteous drink;
Flowing from the streams of Heaven,
Through the blessings God has given.
By no means how man has felt,
Merely that how it will be dealt;
The measure of faith you believe,
Depends how much you will receive.
