Insight To My Soul
I live upon these pages, white
With ink-stain tears express my plight
and punctuate in sighs and grace
each expression on my face
In breath these syllables unfold
With beating heart, my story told
that here before you might see
the very depth and soul of me
Reality in flesh doth fade
when into grave gently laid
My legacy, these words I leave
to carry on the thoughts I weave
Over time and space transcend
My thoughts and words to thee lend
a little insight to my soul
all the pieces that make me whole
