To Her, who's gone missing
The days turning to weeks now months
It's been a while she's been amongst
Her peers I fear she has to stay
The question is how long away?
She says our writes bring her to tears
Sometimes wonder what does appear
On faces those like her who read
In eyes not seen in minds they feed
A piece of me that tries to write
Sometimes graphic, feelings mine strike
A nerve or two of sentiment
Upon a heart is our intent
We wrote for her and many here
Those who touch who so appear
Friends upon this site so dear
To me stranger now friend quite clear
Intend I do to someday meet
Those we find that make complete
This unknown face that in hearts place
A piece of us someday they'll trace
There are many who write and read
Some work written that maybe leads
To us one day in small cafe
A joy for us maybe one day
I'll have the pleasure to see the face
Whose words held us in fond embrace
Friends treasured not seen by eyes
Souls birthing poetic ties
