Sabbath Rest
Let us have a strong desire,
Precisely who to admire;
Remembering what God addressed,
About taking one day for rest.
So there is no need to be a jerk,
Using seven days for your work;
So for six days you do your best,
And then on the seventh you rest.
We need a day for to begin,
Separating from daily sin;
And to worship to our God,
As you honor and laud.
Our Superior Chief Priest,
Has gone to prepare a big feast;
When He ascended to Heaven,
As to where it will be given.
For we hold a declaration,
With a faith based on salvation;
Knowing we will not be alone,
When we are walking to the throne.
There you will be remembered so,
Whether or not that you can go;
Able to follow the Chief Priest,
To the table for the big feast.
