The Evil Within

Who do I believe? Who do I trust?
Is it all steel? Or is it all rust?
My shallow heart beats with unknowing trust.
Is is all love? Or is it all lust?
You see the cathedral and the lies behind the door,
Is he a priest? Or is he their horror?
Our childrens lips seek words unrevealed,
With a silent vow their fate is sealed.
So drink your wine and eat your bread,
While all the poor kids just wish you were dead.
They can't believe the place they're in,
When all you've taught is not to sin.
