Dreamers
I am one of those guys who believes in hope;
You will always find me at the end of your rope.
Hanging tough with you until you land on Mars;
Supporting you, even if you want to reach for the stars.
‘Cause I'm a dreamer, mirroring your dreams;
No matter what the world says, it's not what it seems.
People wish to protect us from having false hope;
Their kindness is extended to help us cope.
Yet, deep within our hearts still lives this fertile seed;
Reaching out to you to assist meeting your need.
A new world of peace reigning across the land;
Beside you, my friend, I will steadfastly stand.
Reach from your heart for that golden ring;
Grasp it, hold on fast, see what it does bring.
When it blossoms, I see balloons and streamers;
There is always a party for those who are dreamers.
