Away out there where silence how in it own way heals
Where folks out there know within what one feels
As they take one as they are for real
And a true souls heart has its own appeal
Where memories they all have their place
And loves that still hold hearts with grace
Where non wish any bad things to be
And one day at a time a soul can be free
Where simplicity lives often as yesterday
And one can walk through life with come what may
What could have been in life n what will be
All a part of life and outback destiny
Where once a happy soul in heart n soul
Can get on with life as in days of old
As life it goes on simply upon its way
And one can do ones best from day to day
Life always has its ups and downs its true
But each day one at a time we all go through
Out where birds they fly n clouds they are
Always your friend is the evening star
Where breezes blow gently cool of a night
And souls they often sit by camp fire light
Where all can relate to a souls deep within
And not always being perfect is not a sin
Just entities that help each other night n day
And one day at a time they make their way
Where people still enjoy an old country tune
And often sit outside n admire an outback moon
Time there sometimes stands still it seems to be
But thats the peace of the outbacks serenity
Life is just a class in one big school its true
And all any can do in life is the best they can do
There is no in life as such wrong or right its so
Its just doing the best with what you know
Away out there in outback Queensland space
Its where so many live and love and learn with grace
Out where the often joy is mostly outback simplicity
And still one can find common sense and integrity
Away out where so many souls they love so to be
Where a mind has time to think and a heart can feel free
A different world at times than the one so many know today
And even time there allows growth to grow in its own way
