Lets say you were sitting in a dingy
Watchen your whole ship go down
And all you thought you owned in life
Was disappearing without a sound
And you were sitting in a dingy
A little wet but still alive
At least in ife you will stand again
And once more in life you ll thrive
We cannot take anything with us
When its our turn to go
Each day it is a blessing and a gift
And we can only do our best its so
Many worship material things in life
But lifes gold is way more than they
We can only appreciate our now in life
And waking to find a brand new day
And you might be sitting as if in a dingy
And yet your still very much alive
And there ll be another day tomorrow
And yes youll appreciate it too and thrive
Be thankfull that you have health in life
And that you will know yet another day
Dispite that all you treasured so in life
Has in life simply faded and gone away
Its not all that easy to put in words
What your heart and soul at this time must feel
But your still alive and well and so
Better in a dingy than being at the keel
Life it always has the last ever say
Regardless of whom we think we are
And material things in life never last
And are not what will take our souls so far
But here you are sitting in a dingy
As if one could put it in a better way
And though whats come down is not your fault
And you at least get to live another day
So many think they can take it with them
Well if thats what they think than let it be
And you might be just now sitting in a dingy
But your still alive and your soul is well and free
Life it is a presious gift one day at a time
If we only could more so appreciate it so
And you might be sitting in lifes dingy
But at least you live to get another go
