Dust and Dreams-A Journey

In Waves (Reflection)

Moments

Days of rain are longer still,
'Tis but a fragment of lies, hurt,

Lest to be forgot upon airy night's arrival,
Imprisonment of thy mind instilled,

Foes, be merely thy friends,
Held close, in foolish,

Theatrical embrace,
But hearts to fall,

Like bitters upon the snow,
Dark sun of pain,

Begone, begone,
For your rays of doom,

Pierce slowly, to leave me,
Breathless with forgotten dream,

Awaiting the last forsaken,
Moment of tortured chance,

As false smiles waver,
On thy unsteady, shaking legs,

Those vile vices of adulthood,
Work not but for my own broken heart,

Childish fragility mocks not,
Thy children of dismal sea,

Cursed to lose they way, evermore,
Merely floating upon lost Northern wind,

Awaiting the last forsaken,
Moment of tortured chance.

 Falling Sky

Falling sky, to thee I cry,
Show thou mercy, mercy, mercy,

Falling sky, soon shall I die,
From cold grave shall I curse thee,

Falling sky, apocalypse is neigh,
To deform demented mind,

Falling sky, thy stone spoke of fear,
Your core rotten, like rancid rhyme,

Falling sky, hence sinners cry,
To thy airy, indifferent way,

Falling sky, rain and fire,
Lest not split soul fade to gray.

 Starlight

Starlight, so lovely,
Ah, yet so lonely,
Gazing dutifully upon the sleeping city,
I see you weep your silent tears,
Like precious dew upon a flower.

 Lost Haven

Safe haven from demon curs at world's doorway,
Shan't be found this dismal day,
For fear is slowly possessing me,
As has been throughout this reality,
Like a mute, I cannot talk,
Like a downtrodden man, I limp in walk,
Begging to strangers, but not with cup,
Offering my bleeding heart, scarred and cut,
When the evil blast of wind came near,
Like a hurricane, it whispered fear,
And into the throes of storming rain,
Passive martyr shan't see joy again.....

 In Waves

Changes roll forth, as endless sea's break,
In waves,

Rolling like thunder, as illiterate speak,
Concave,

Hearts aflutter, then quiet, then meek,
Love's slave,

Weak fist, striking into storm's sky, bleak,
To save,

Confusion aloft, placid clouds to seek,
Yet rage,

Softly, calm hurt doth teach,
Calm sage,

For facades be comfort, yet strange,
Peace caged,

Thy lonely cry forth for all days,
In rage,

Novels of old, now nary dust,
Each page,

For diamonds of death cut deep,
Each faze,

Drops of death, fall upon year's wave,
In age,

Blood mauve.......
