 Take My Hand
Your words sadden a soul today
Not by fault you feel and pray
For things to change and bring you peace
Where calm once ruled, turmoil now feasts

Upon your face written is loss
Extreme the feel much more the cost
Your mind races with time that runs
Circles round you and still not done

Heartbreak, lost love is cruel and cold
The best given by you is null
Null and void is stamped upon
Your heart with pulse almost now gone

Rainbows appear more like bad storms
Raising the bar, sounding alarms
That do not guide a soul to haven
Safe in nature, lost soul love craving

Take my hand, I'll help you through
This crisis dark inside of you
I'll light the way we both can go
To a place few seen and know

I promise you the best of days
Although stranger we'll find a way
For you to love me as your friend
Where you we'll help to comprehend

Take my hand and I will show
Our heart will mend with yours in tow
