Oh seed – precious seed,
Seemingly insignificant, small,
Oft trampled under uncaring feet,
Yet packed with life's potential full.
An eternal cycle of joyful blossom,
Bright colours followed by the fall,
Then a new generation perpetuates
The cycle of sweet love eternal.
Somewhere deep in the garden of life,
A seed, rooted deep in hope eternal,
Like the gold band of endless love,
It's growth is far from only temporal.
It looks beyond sickness and health,
Beyond wealth, weariness and war,
Planted right in our heart of hearts is
The hope of love enduring evermore.
