On a clear, cool, and calm night,
I pray with all of my might,
To the stars in the heavens above,
Each unfolding like an angelic dove.
I choose a bright, twinkling star,
And make a special wish for my friend afar,
One, the Almighty chose especially for me,
For she has sent an Angel to watch over me.
