Tender Caress
The full moon softly lights your face through the window;
You lie beside me, softly sleeping, dreaming of the sunshine.
A tear forms in the corner of my eyes, my love, my life;
I reach over and touch your forehead with a tender caress.
Many years have come and gone since our first date;
How quickly we each knew that destiny put us together.
I see you pale blue eyes flutter as I stare at your face;
You look back at me, then touch my lips with a tender caress.
The moonlight reflects our love in softened romantic tones;
We snuggle closer, our lips meet, a kiss so sweet, so sweet.
You nestle you head against my chest, and smile up at me;
We drift into a dream together as we share a tender caress.
