You tell me you're sorry, that she was a mistake,
But I sit here wondering how much more I can take,
You've stolen, you've promised and I've lost count of the lies,
Now I feel nothing for you when I see the tears in your eyes.

I've fought for our survival and I have craved your affection,
You didn't give our relationship respect or any protection,
You took me for granted and thought I'd always stick around,
But I realized a long time ago, happiness is yet to be found.

It's not with you and it's no ones fault but your own,
You pushed me away so I left you alone,
Then when you got cold and wanted me near,
It was already too late because I've settled in here.

So when the tears start rolling and you beg for me back,
Remember all the chances that you've already had,
I see through you now like I didn't before,
And this time it wont be me picking the pieces off the floor!
