"Your Just An Old Love Memory"

Your just an old love memory,
My mind needs to forget.
The times it all comes back to me,
That's when I really get upset.

I remember when we first met,
we looked love straight in the eye.
But I'm not the one that left,, you see,
I'm not the one who said good-by.

I try and put behind me,
those old familiar memories.
But my mind just won't let go
of everything it sees.
~~~
Yes' we were inseparable,
I remember once upon a time.
The love we shared seemed so real,
to have left it all behind.
~~~
I seem to dream about you yet,
every now and then.
You still remain here in my thoughts,
over again and again.
~~~
I hear your still alone,
with no one in your life.
Remember! you wanted it that way,
So your left with pain and strife.
~~~
Now you spend your time alone,
and living from day to day.
There's no one there at home,
to now be in your way.
~~~
Tell me' why does anyone ever
really want to be alone.
With no one there to be waiting,
for them when you get home.
~~~
Do you want to leave this earth,
a frustrated lonely old man.
With no one there at home,
to ever hold your hand.
~~~
But I do wish you well,
with the years that you have left.
Cause your just an old love memory,
I'm really trying to forget.
