O for today God, that I might see
all these waves forming CHRIST in me
to trust in the method of YOUR HAND
to know that this is YOUR MASTER PLAN
to embrace affliction with THY grace
to just get a glimpse of HIS PRECIOUS FACE
for just a peek of YOUR finished piece
would create a calm - an inner peace
I'm tired, depleted I am so worn
broken in pieces, tossed and torn
I stand before this tidal wave
surrendered to YOU alone to save
IF YOUR in-charge of all of the sea
why do I doubt, YOUR charge over me?

Lord THY waves have tossed
my spirit into doubt
they have caused my faith to faint
instead of my trust growing
bitterness took root
this is my sin for not
coming to YOU and finding YOU
to be the source of all I need,
forgive me for all the times
I have ran everywhere seeking help
but YOU. I love YOU because YOUR faithful and just
full of mercy, relentless in forgiveness
and eager to bless and restore!
