Chapter 56 ~ The Jail Bird Rock

The Jail Bird Rock
Chapter 56

,,,,,,,,,

Lyric Rewrite

The Buzzard threw a party in the county jail.
The Buzzard Boys were there and they began to wail.
The Mouth was steam'n as the joint began to ring.
You should've seen those sexy two  jailbirds swing.
Lets stop, everybody, lets stop.
Everybody in the whole cell block
is gonna be busting rocks

Eric and Chris played their fingers to the bone,
Little Marg was blow'n on the slide trombone.
The drummer Ron from Canada went crash, boom, bang,
The whole rhythm section was the Buzzard gang.
Lets stop, everybody, lets stop.
Everybody in the whole cell block
is gonna be busting rocks

The Shady Buzzard  said to the sexy she
You're the cutest jailbird I ever did see.
I sure would be delighted if you'd break me free
Come on and do the Buzzard escape with me.
Lets stop, everybody, lets stop.
Everybody in the whole cell block
is gonna be busting rocks

The Buzzard was a sit'n on a block of stone
Way over in the corner look'n all alone.
The Mouth said, hey, Buzzard, don't you just sit and stare.
If you touch my Gold Pen you'll get the electric chair.
Lets stop, everybody, lets stop.
Everybody in the whole cell block
is gonna be busting rocks

Eric Buzzard said to Buz, for heavens sake,
Mouth aint look'n, now's our chance to make a break.
Buzzard turned to Eric and he said, nix nix,
Mouth is watching and she gives wicked kicks
Lets stop, everybody, lets stop.
Everybody in the whole cell block
is is gonna be busting rocks

gonna be busting rocks
gonna be busting rocks
gonna be busting rocks
gonna be busting rocks
gonna be busting rocks

Now darn it Buzzard
you've gone way to far
a party you throw
from behind jail bars

The Gold Pen duel
is a serious test
of whit and skill
to see whose the best

But this time
your reaching for the stars
A party in jail
Have you been hit'n the bars

You severely whined
over a few singed feathers
and then you claim
the be under the weather

And then here I sit
Just a wishing
and you hang out a sign
gone fishing

If its sympathy you seek
Surly you know I have none
Oh my Dear Feathered Friend
We duel one on one.

Our pens clash
in thunderous display
and then you run and hide
as I have to coax you out to play

Please understand
The Gold Pen is as good as mine
So go ahead and dig out your muse
that is if you have the time...

So my Friend I sit and wait
for your never so timely reply
and wait for the words
of Uncle that you will cry

Hugs
KKD
