WANTING ME FOR WHAT?

Here I am
Alone
Live with kids
Even if they're
Thirty or less

Old
Ugly
Not feeling like
Have what it takes:

For a husband
Or a boyfriend
Or a wish
Or a bed

With some great guy
Or some lazy guy
Or some married guy
Or even some woman
Namely me

Why go on?
It's the wishes
That you try for
That hurt sometimes
But then again
This life is pain

Going to have
A good day somehow
Leave it to
God's will
It will divide

Into the sun you see
You can feel him
On your skin
Just go outside
Close your eyes
And dream o dreamer

Act as if you sail
The seas of the Gods
On a magic carpet
Flying gliding
Coming to
Him at his midnight

Before the flight
I shall prepare a vision
He does say he
Loves you
So you be true
Act as if you do it
All for him
The muse of superiority

Even if he does
Not want you to do
Things for him
You take care of
Yourself that way

It is all you have known
Being oldest sister
Of five kids
Being mother of three
Being nurse of thousands
In your career

You give you live
You hold back
And life is what
You lack
O silly woman

You write to
Be alive
You are a clown
Going down
To man's soul

You want to know
Your long nails
On his thighs
Look into his eyes
It's all about him

Or life is
Just a whim
Go forth today
Be good
His great girl

Even if
You have to
Act "as if"
Who cares
It's your
Thoughts that share

Peace-a-moving
Wanting me for what?
---Well, I can be soothing.
