This is becoming ridiculous
In fact it is quite absurd,

When I look at what the media are doing to you
How can I ever again believe their words,

I have been so very angry and upset
About everything of late,

There is always something bad about you
In the papers or on TV when I awake,

They are not going to let you rest in peace
That is easy to see,

Now I am beginning to understand
How cruel this world can be,

They will not stop making up their lies
But then why should they when they are
Raking in the cash,

I cannot believe them anymore
All their words are just tabloid trash,

Somehow they have all forgotten
You were a human being
Who in life and death
Had the right to be treated fair,

Somewhere along the way
They have lost the heart to care,

They have already taken the Peoples' Princess
Now they have helped take our King of Pop,

How long will it be before this madness will stop?

Michael, you had a unique talent
The gift of music, song and dance,

You were a great humanitarian
Who helped so many at every chance,

No one talks about this
All the wonderful things you have done
They just keep selling their lies one by one,

Now all those heartfelt messages
From all your so called friends,

Are they trying to make money of you to?
Or do they truly want to make amends,

Where were they when you needed them most?
I did not see them by your side,

I guess when the going gets tough
It's easier to close your eyes,

You showed so much love and compassion
In a world that treated you so cruel,

You simply reached out your hand to us
And tried to heal the world,

Well Michael, you fans are still all out here
We stand by you through the good and bad,

We all stand together proud and tall,

No matter what they may say about you
We will always love you more
