When Things...When things go wrong as they always will, Life's a struggle and all uphill, The path you're walking seems so tough! You're in despair, feeling rough! There isn't always light, oh, that's true, But this is what you just have to do! You have to brave it out, pop on your mask, So no one will know, and no one will ask!! Because at times in life we don't seem to cope, And things get worse, and you lose your hope... Then look to the Lord, and open your heart, let the Holy Spirit in, and find a new start! For only when you have the Lord in your heart, Is the time you 'can' make that new start, For the Lord loves us all, one and true, Yes even me the sinner, and even the sinner, you! For we are; all of us; sinners in God's eyes, But when you feel at your worst, look to the skies, Ask this Icon, the Lord Jesus, to help and guide... And pray to Him and then no longer hide! Show the world what you are and tell all, That the Lord above will one day soon call... Call for us all to account for our sin, When the evil will perish, the righteous will win! So ask for forgiveness just like I asked, For now I'm strong, and no longer wear a mask! And when your burden makes you feel alone, Ask this Icon, Our Lord, to take you home! And of course, He will!
