My Young Lover The Writer
Thoughts of you stream through my mind
like the flow of blood rushing through my heart
anticipation makes it beat fast
at the thought of seeing you at last
once a week is not enough
to make up for the days
that we're apart,
seeing you at last
I finally feel blessed
only you know how
to satisfy my zest
your touch, your smell,
your voice, your young eyes
glaring down at me
as your sweaty body makes
love to me
never have I had a young one
like you,
with the mind of a forty-year-old
I feel even with you,
yet there is no denying
my lover is much younger
full of experience just
makes me wonder
what number am I?
yet that's not important
moments we share are so unique
surely you will capture on ink
can't wait to read your next novel
of how a young writer
capture the heart,
of a much older woman,
only a mature man can do
that is what makes you so unique,
no one else has inspired me so deep
these words I leak
only you bring out the poet in me
